anti-ageing treatments

Our help: clear skin range is by far the least crazy skincare treatment out there, but it’s just as effective as these seemingly outrageous anti-ageing treatments said to help promote a youthful complexion – but at a steep financial cost.

So which of these anti-ageing treatments (if any) would you choose to do to help keep your skin looking fresh, youthful and wrinkle-free?

Snail slime

Said to have been discovered by farmers who would put snail slime onto their cuts to stop dirt getting in, well it turned out, the slime actually help promote skin healing too! And now it seems this slime can also reduce the appearance of wrinkles! Is there nothing this seemingly uninteresting garden pest can’t do?

Bee venom

As we have become accustomed to this bee craze by now we know that it is the venom extracted from the bee sting and added to a gel which is then applied to the face (usually a facial). As the skin thinks it has been stung, blood rushes to the area which stimulates the production of the collagen and elastin – the result, an undoubtedly fresh-looking face with every use.

Urine Facial

How do you fancy a urine facial? Apparently your first wee in the morning is packed full of so many nutrients that it can help reduce discoloration and skin pigmentation issues! (Let us know if you find out won’t you)?

Breast Milk Facial

If that’s not your thing, how about a Breast Milk Facial? – If you don’t have any personally, make sure you get yours from a reliable source. Breast milk has been found to help heal acne scarring and minimise wrinkles by improving skin smoothness. Never underestimate the wonder of breast milk!

Semen Facials

Semen is surprisingly nutrient dense boasting vitamins B, C & E making it a potent antioxidant. Antioxidants are said to help prevent premature skin ageing, hence the need for one of these every once in a while for blemish-free, wrinkle-reduced skin.

Placenta Face Masks

Placenta is a highly nutritious source for any developing baby – human or animal. Once baby is born, those nutrients remain within the placenta. The placenta is then freeze-dried, sterilised and turned into a powder which remains abundant with enzymes and proteins which help soothe & nourish skin for a more youthful complexion.

Vitamin IV Drips

Feeling lethargic now you’re middle aged? It’s true, as we get older, everything just works less efficiently than before. Luckily to get a spring back in your step there are now vitamin drips! Usually a concoction of which include B12, magnesium, and vitamin C for about 45 minutes these nutrients course through your veins (twice a week) and you feel overwhelmingly energised!

Blood Facials

Yes, you read that right – luckily it’s your own blood being used! It seems now you can donate your own blood which is spun to separate the red blood cells from the plasma. The plasma is then injected back into your own face. This has been found to produce a youthful complexion.

Whether you found any of these anti-ageing treatments helpful or not in your desire for age-defying, blemish-free skin, you can be safe in the knowledge that, if you are doing any of these – you’re not alone. And if you aren’t (and really don’t want to) there is always help: clear skin to help skin regain its natural beauty, effortlessly.Clear:skin
