Any lucky person invited to the impending royal wedding in April 2011 must have wondered what on earth they would buy Prince William and Kate Middleton as a wedding gift. Talk about the couple who has everything! So, the couple’s decision to create a charitable gift fund in place of receiving gifts is a fantastic idea, and will provide much needed support to many deserving charities who are desperately seeking funds everyday.
There are five overall causes being supported, including Children Fullfilling their Potential. The charities being supported within this include Beatbullying, which helps young people being bullied, and Venture Trust, which helps disadvantaged, marginalised and vulnerable young people to make positive changes in their lives.
These particularly struck a chord with the team at Works with Water Nutraceuticals, which produces the natural blemish-clearing treatment help: clear skin, as we regularly speak to many people who suffer from abuse and a lack of confidence because of their acne. In fact, one of our latest ventures was a nationwide student design competition to help raise awareness of the affects of acne on people’s lives, in which we partnered with charity Youthnet.
As well as the wedding guests, the public have also been invited to make donations to the royals’ chosen charities – you can get more information and make a donation to the charities of your choice at http://www.royalweddingcharityfund.org
