National Eczema Week: help: clear skin with PravENAC™. Could lactoferrin be the secret cure for eczema?

Eczema cure

This week in the UK it’s National Eczema Week, a special seven days that raises vital funds to help those with eczema voice their concerns, find out information about their condition and gain access to the latest research. It’s essential to talk about all of our experiences with eczema, including the emerging science on ingredients that might help to alleviate symptoms.

Last year we wrote about new research into lactoferrin from milk proteins that appear to have a positive effect on the symptoms of some eczema sufferers. This research is on-going and we are also conducting our own research into the benefits of daily consumption of lactoferrin for sufferers of eczema and psoriasis.

Whilst help: clear skin and help: clear skin MEN are formulated to alleviate the symptoms of acne,  combatting bacteria and inflammation, both products contain lactoferrin, a milk protein that’s believed to relieve the symptoms of eczema following the study from the Griffith University in Australia.

We’ve received anecdotal reports from people taking our products who suffer from both acne and eczema or psoriasis indicating that both conditions have improved following daily consumption of PravENAC™ , our natural skin formulation in both help: clear skin and help: clear skin MEN. This is encouraging news for eczema sufferers to learn that not only does lactoferrin reduce the symptoms of acne, it could also reduce the inflammation caused by eczema and relieve the associated itching.

We’re interested to hear from anyone suffering from eczema, acne or psoriasis either using our products already or interested in joining our current consumer trial.  Email us at study2@workswithwater.co.uk
