Scientific researchers analyzing surveys involving 80,000 Britons that included questions on their diet and general feelings found that those who ate around 8 portions of fruit and vegetables a day scored highly when measuring satisfaction with life.

 

It’s thought that the antioxidants contained in fruit and vegetables are thought to reduce stress levels, but researches have no idea how the benefits relate to our minds and emotions.
