When did you start writing a beauty blog?

May 2010, so I’ve been blogging for just over a year now – how time flies 🙂

What prompted you to start a blog?

After being on Youtube for a while and always running into difficulties with my camera, I thought there must be an easier way to ramble on about make-up and beauty! I discovered a few UK beauty blogs, got hooked and decided I should start my own.

What can readers expect from your blog?

Make-up looks from the subtle to the dramatic, honest reviews, tips and advice, clear and accurate photos and a no-nonsense attitude.

What one beauty item would you choose to take to a desert island?

Um…can I say a toothbrush and toothpaste?! I doubt I’d be too concerned about what I looked like, but I couldn’t handle my teeth rotting away!

What’s your favourite beauty trend?

Everything bold and beautiful! Thick eyeliner, bright eyeshadows, neon lipstick, false lashes – I can’t choose just one!

What’s your top tip for caring for skin to treat spots and blemishes?

Don’t be lazy – keep your skin clean at all times and don’t skip thoroughly washing your face if you’re tired/in a rush/ can’t be bothered. That includes taking make-up off at the end of the day!

You must come across a lot of beauty products – what do you think about help: clear skin supplements to clear problem skin and blemishes from within?

I think it’s a different and unique approach to skin care, since the vast majority of skin care products are applied directly to the skin. I look forward to trying help: clear skin supplements myself to review on Beauty’s Bad Habit to see if beauty really can come from within! Or, beautiful skin at least!

What is your top confidence boosting tip?

Remember that your friends don’t see you as ‘that person with spots’, but instead as ‘that person who makes me laugh/ smile/have fun.’ Go out with them and enjoy yourself and your confidence will no doubt get a huge boost.

What are your top tips for enhancing natural beauty?

Eat healthy, drink plenty of water, exercise regularly  and do whatever you need to do to be happy.

Remember that achieving a clearer, healthier and blemish-free complexion doesn’t happen overnight.  However, taking help: clear skin twice daily for a minimum of 4-6 weeks really can deliver results.  So if you are determined to clear your spots and blemishes, add help: clear skin to your daily skin routine.
