Dale recommends an acne free diet and suggests eating more acne-fighting foods such as pumpkin seeds, prawns and sweet potatoes. In particular, focus on eating more omega 3 fatty acids, oily fish and flax oil to treat inflammation, while reducing omega 6 – in things like sunflower oil and margarine – as this encourages the body to create more of its own natural anti-inflammatory response.
